Rules for Trash drop-off:
(Be prepared to unload your own trash)

Trash needs to be
dropped off at the Town of Herkimer Highway Garage
located across the NYS Police Barracks. The
address is 123 Gros Boulevard, East Herkimer. |

Open to "ALL" Town of
Herkimer residents. |
| 3 |
Car tire cost (each):
$8.00 with rim, $3.00 without rim. |
| 4 |
Dump truck tire cost
(each): $8.00, accepted without rim only. |
| 5 |
Tractor tire cost
(each): $10.00, accepted without rim only. |
| 6 |
All steel items such as
bed springs are accepted, as well as sofas, chairs and
all household items. |
| 7 |
Batteries ARE accepted.
(ABSOLUTELY NO HAZARDOUS MATERIALS) |
| 8 |
NO paints,
construction debris/material. |
| 9 |
NO private
contractors or commercial drops. |
| 10 |
NO recyclables
accepted. |
| 11 |
Limited loads. |
| 12 |
Propane tanks WILL
NOT be accepted. |

Be sure the waste is ready for
pick up by 6:00 am
YARD WASTE RULES

waste will be left in front of the house but NOT IN THE ROAD! |

Yard waste refers to
grass, leaves and twigs |

Grass and leaves must be
in plastic bags or containers to be emptied. |
| 4 |
Twigs
must be bundles and no longer than 4 ft. long. |
| 5 |
Weight limit of 50 lbs. |
| 6 |
No plastic pots or garden
containers will be picked up. |
